I’ve been running social media workshops and working with clients to develop community engagement strategies and design social change campaigns for at least two years now. I love ‘exploring the edges’ in theory and practice and thought I’d take the opportunity to bring some of that to the Global Shifts Conference in Melbourne this week. In addition to covering some of the basics, we discussed social objects, memes, when good content goes viral and the power of pull.
I’m planning to include more of this type of content in workshops next year and give participants an opportunity to explore new ways to create engaging content and design innovative campaigns – and hopefully have a bit of fun. 🙂
